2 critical after taxi shooting

A taxi driver and a passenger were critically wounded in a drive-by shooting in Pietermaritzburg on Wednesday, KwaZulu-Natal paramedics said.
It is believed that people travelling in a car opened fire on the taxi on Wednesday morning, said Netcare 911 spokesperson Derrick Banks.
"The two people [in the taxi], a man and a woman passenger, sustained multiple gun wounds to their chests, pelvis, arms and legs and were rushed to hospital in a critical condition."
Other passengers who were in the taxi at the time were unharmed, said Banks.
