The Book
The K53 Mobile application is a version of South Africa's most up-to-date test preparation book, THE NEW K53 MANUAL for the Learner’s and Driver’s Licence tests published by Struik Publishers.
The NEW K53 MANUAL has been created by the authors of South Africa's annual best-seller that has been used by around 2 million people as preparation for passing the official Learner's Licence test easily.
The Authors
Gavin Hoole is a successful author and experienced trainer and management consultant. He is the author and co-author of several books, including The Really Really Really Easy Step-by-Step Computer Books series, Really Really Really Easy Step-by-step Digital Photography, The Really Really Really Easy Step-by-Step Guide to Creating Your Family Tree Using Your Computer and a host of best-selling learner's and driver's licence titles, including Pass Your Learner's Easily.
Clive Gibson is a graduate in Industrial Psychology and Business Economics, the author of 22 published titles, including the hugely popular Pass Your Learner's Easily and The Secrets of Successful Selling. He runs a successful consultancy as a trainer and motivational speaker and is an avid wildlife enthusiast.
The Mobile Application
The K53 Mobile application was developed by DigiWords a Cape Town based mobile applications developer. It is the first java based K53 mobile e-learning application of its sort in the world and was developed utilising DigiWord’s renowned CellBook™ reader technology for mobile phones and is compatible with almost 90% of mobile phones in the South African market. CellBook technology is also used in a number of e-learning initiatives by companies such as Metropolitan and Old Mutual.
