Woman seriously injured after construction vehicle collides with her on site, Savanna City

A woman has sustained serious injuries after a construction vehicle drove over her at a site in Savanna City close to Walkerville this morning.

When ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene, the woman was found lying on the ground and a group of people was standing around her.

Upon further assessment, paramedics found the woman to be in a serious condition. They treated her on the scene and gave her pain-relief medication.

It is believed that the woman is a vendor and sells food on the site.

The woman was airlifted by the ER24 Oneplan medical helicopter to Chris Hani Baragwanath hospital for further medical care.

The exact circumstances surrounding the incident is not yet known to our paramedics, but local authorities were on scene for further investigations.
