Best taxi ranks in KZN recognized

MEC for Transport, Community Safety and Liaison, Mxolisi Kaunda attended the SANTACO KZN Best Serviced Rank Awards, which were held at the Olive Convention Centre in Durban last night.

The Categories and Winners were:

Most utilized Health Facility: Nquthu main rank;

HIV & Aids programmes at ranks: Uthukela Mobile Clinic at the Escourt rank;;

Compliance with Recapitalization: Umgungundlovu region - Pietermaritzburg;

Compliance with Hlokomela: Tugela Ferry rank;

Best serviced rank:

1st place was won by the Mapumulo rank;
2nd place was awarded to the Weneen rank; and 3rd place was awarded to the Richards Bay rank.
