Bakkie rollover leaves seven injured in Mafakathini

Seven people were left injured this morning following a bakkie rollover on the R617 in Mafakathini, KwaZulu Natal.
ER24 paramedics, along with other services, arrived on the scene at 07h50 to find the bakkie parked on the side of the road against an embankment. Several people were found seated next to the vehicle.
Paramedics assessed the patients and found that seven people had sustained injuries ranging from minor to moderate. Fortunately, no serious injuries or fatalities were found on the scene.
The patients were treated for their injuries and were thereafter transported to nearby provincial hospitals for further care.
Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
