Durban: Passenger seriously injured in M25 collision

KwaZulu-Natal: At 07H11 Sunday morning, Netcare 911 responded.to.a collision on the M25 just passed the N2 Bridge in Avoca Durban.

Reports indicate that a mini-bus taxi and light delivery vehicle were involved in a collision.

Medics assessed the scene and found that a front passenger from the taxi was trapped in the taxi.

On scene was Marshall Security, Ethekwini Fire and Rescue, Emer-G-Med, Durban Metropolitan Police and Greenwood Park SAPS.

The patient, an adult male had sustained serious injuries and was treated on scene while the Ethekwini Fire and Rescue Services used Hydraulic tools free him.

Once stabilised, the patient was transported to hospital for further care.
