MEC MaQueen Letsoha-Mathae commitment on R34,R74 and R26 roads begins

29 November 2023 | From Arrive Alive

The executive authority last week met with SANRAL and appointed service providers to deliberate on R34, 74, and R26 roads focusing on social facilitation and temporary measures before the festive season period.

The MEC emphasized that these roads are crucial for economic development, and the movement of goods and people and the communities living alongside these roads should benefit from the projects.

Community meetings in all towns will be conducted as a platform for community members to have information about the projects.

The workforce is busy closing potholes to ensure that the roads are drivable for now before earthworks and actual work can start early next year.
