Man narrowly escapes bullets in an armed robbery in Nelspruit

A motorist was lucky to escape unharmed in an armed robbery and shooting incident in the Nelspruit area this afternoon.

Emer-G-Med paramedics arrived on the scene to find the man seated in a high-end luxury motor vehicle that had been peppered with high-caliber bullet holes.

Closer examination revealed the man to have sustained no injuries.

Reports from the scene allege the man to have been followed from a bank and stopped by an unknown number of armed suspects who shot at his vehicle, before robbing him of a large amount of money.

The South African Police Services were in attendance and will be conducting the necessary investigation accordingly.
