Scholars injured in a minibus taxi rollover on the N2 at Kareedouw (Trivolia) turnoff

Today 22/02/2024 at around 09:40 REMS medical received a call regarding a motor vehicle accident on the N2 at Kareedouw (Trivolia) turnoff, the caller stated that it was a school minibus with students that overturned and rolled down an embarkment 
REMS together with Fire and Rescue, Metro EMS and other private services responded.

Upon arrival Paramedics accessed 10+ patients with injuries ranging from minor to severe, an AMS medivac helicopter was activated from Port Elizabeth, all together patients were stabilized and transported to various upgraded hospitals for treatment and management.

We pray that all of the injured kids recover soon and our thoughts are with the parents, family and friends
