A serious two-vehicle collision reported on the M4 near Umdloti.
CERT volunteers together with emergency services responded and upon arrival found two vehicles had been involved in a head on collision. A quick triage was conducted and five people were found to have been injured. Three having sustained moderate to serious injuries and two having sustained minor injuries.
They were treated and stabilized by CERT volunteers together with paramedics before being transported to hospital for further care under the care of Advanced Life Support Paramedics.
