Transport Department to brief media ahead of the transport budget vote tabling

Transport Minister, Ms. Barbara Creecy and Deputy Minister, Mr. Mkhuleko Hlengwa, will deliver the Department of Transport Budget Vote on Monday, 15 July 2024. 

Prior to the Budget Vote, Minister Barbara Creecy and Deputy Minister Mkhuleko Hlengwa will brief members of the media to shed light on the budget allocations and priority projects for the transport sector for the 2024/2025 financial year.

This media briefing will also provide an opportunity for members of the media to engage with the incoming 7th Administration Cabinet minister about plans for the sector over the next five years and other pertinent transport-related matters.

The Budget Vote media briefing will take place as per the following details:
