Fifteen people were injured in a collision on the N2 near Ballito

A short while ago IPSS Medical Rescue and IPSS S&R received reports of a vehicle collision on the N2 near Ballito.
On arrival of paramedics and rescue personnel it was established that a van, laden with church goers, had lost control and rolled multiple times.
A total of 15 patients were found to have sustained injuries ranging from critical to minor, including three young children.
Two critically injured patients were stabilised on scene and transported to a nearby hospital under the care of an IPSS Medical Rescue Advanced Life Support paramedic.
A further 9 patients with minor to moderate injuries were also transported to appropriate facilities by IPSS Medical Rescue.
Four patients were transported to the hospital by Netcare911.
