From Sunday, 1 December 2024, the more secure and convenient tap and go payment method will replace magstripe (swipe) VISA and MasterCard credit cards at all toll plazas on the N3 Toll Route. 

For your Safety. Convenience. Mobility. available payment options at toll plazas on the N3 Toll Route include: 

* Tap-enabled debit or credit cards (i.e., MasterCard or VISA issued with a chip by South African banks)
* Smart devices (smartphones or smartwatches with Apple Pay, Samsung Pay, Google Pay, etc) which are linked to a virtual or physical bank card
* ?Tags
* Cash
* Fleet cards
