Heavy traffic flows are expected on the following major routes as holidaymakers will be traveling in and out of the province:
• N1: Pretoria to Polokwane
• N4: Pretoria to Mpumalanga
• N4: Pretoria to Rustenburg
• R573: Pretoria to Mpumalanga
• N12: Johannesburg to Mpumalanga
• N3: Johannesburg to Durban
• N1: Johannesburg to Bloemfontein
• N12: Johannesburg to Potchefstroom

Buhle Park_Currently there is a protest action on the R554 road, near Buhle Park. The road is barricaded with rocks and burning tyres.
Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Police Department (EMPD) Germiston Precinct Officers are on scene, motorists are advised to avoid the route.

A serious collision involving four vehicles occurred this afternoon on the R34 near Gluckstad, resulting in significant property damage and multiple injuries.
The incident involved two trucks and two bakkies, with the impact causing one truck to lose control and crash into a nearby shop.

Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) arrived on scene at 15:18 (Thursday) to render assistance to the injured man.
