The EMPD Personnel have planned a drive to Germiston Civic Centre

- To meet with the COE Executive Mayor Cllr Xhakaza
- They are looking for a response to the Memorandum that was previously sent, via email to the office of the Mayor
- They have previously tried to engage with the EMPD management, the Community Safety MMC's Office and the Mayor's office, but didn't get an amicable results.
- The Mayor's office is aware of the planned visit (march) by the Officers, and have confirmed the availability of the Mayor [Confirmation communication, wasn't seen by this Office (POP IG)]
- The EMPD quest is supported by South African Municipal Workers Union (SAMWU) Ekurhuleni Region
- The COE has about 3500 EMPD and Wardens Personnel
- According to this info, No EMPD officials will be performing official duties, between the above mentioned period (06:30 to 11:00)
- Official State Resources (Vehicles) will be used
- Most Officials will be dressed in their uniform

NORTHERN REGION

- Not confirmed, as there was different idea about

EASTERN REGION

- GP: R51 (Kingsway Rd) near Modderbee Prison
- R: N12-West, then  N3-South at Giloolys Interchange, Off-Ramp at M2-East Geldenhuys Interchange, Into Germiston

SOUTHERN REGION

- GP: Vosloorus CCC
- R: N3-North (Johannesburg Direction), Off-Ramp at M2-East Geldenhuys Interchange, Into Germiston

VULNERABILITIES:

- Possible Traffic congestion on mentioned National Roads
- No EMPD response to needed complains
- Official posts will/shall be abandoned
- Protection of critical municipal infrastructure might be neglected

REMEDIES:

- High Police Visibility on critical points
- Other Law Enforcement to assist in response, as per need
- The  communication and convincing by EMPD Management, that other Units to remain in their posts
