Pedestrian Injured In Hit-and-Run Accident: R102 Verulam - KZN

A 32-year-old man was sustained a head injury in a hit & run accident on the R102 in Verulam - KZN today (Friday).
The injured male was walking along the R102 under the George Sewpersad Street bridge when he was struck by a passing truck. The driver of the truck did not stop to assist. The pedestrian walked to Ireland Street in the Verulam CBD - KZN and sought assistance from his brother who contacted the Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) Operations Centre.
The man was treated for his injuries before being expedited to hospital by ambulance.
