MEC for Transport and Community Safety in Limpopo to address the ongoing taxi feuds in the Lebowakgomo and Zebediela areas.

The MEC for Transport and Community Safety in Limpopo, Mme Violet Mathye flanked by HoD Stephen Matjena, met with taxi associations, including SANTACO, LNTA and oher local taxi associations, to address the ongoing taxi feuds in the Lebowakgomo and Zebediela areas.

The meeting aimed to understand the root causes of the conflict and explore possible solutions to restore peace and stability in the industry.

"The taxi industry plays a crucial role in the province's economy, and its peaceful operation is essential for the community. The conflicts must stop!" Said MEC Mathye. Her intervention is a step towards resolving the conflict and ensuring a safer environment for both the taxi operators and the commuters.
