Road Alert: Bus crash reported on the R71-1 Magobaskloof, Limpopo

Motorists are advised to please exercise caution when approaching the R71-1 at Magobaskloof (75.4OE) as a bus accident has occurred and the course of the accident is not yet clear.  Only one lane is currently open.

Preliminary reports indicate that a Department of Education bus carrying 39 individuals, including 30 kids from a Special School was involved in the incident. 

Emergency services are on the scene, and patients have been transported to nearby hospitals, which is Tzaneen Medicare, Van Velden Hospital and Letaba Hospital

The Scene is under control with our officers conducting point duty services as only one lane is usable

The details of the injuries and the accident will be available ones the next of kin have been informed and when the scene is cleared.
