The Corner R40 and R71 between Lulekani and Namakgale is closed* because community protesters are burning tyres and blocking the road with rocks and trees. SAPS is on site and monitoring the situation.
For alternative route From the Gravellote area, head through *Namakgale* and follow Calvin Ngobeni Drive into Phalaborwa. You can also use Makhushoane Road or the Lulekani-Ben farm road to reach town .
Motorists are urged to plan ahead, obey signage, and allow extra travel time. Stay safe and keep an eye on official updates from the Limpopo Department of Transport and Community Safety.
