Nigerian national arrested for dealing in drugs

The team from the Provincial Organised Crime's Narcotics, White River K9 Unit, Tactical Response Team (TRT) and Anti-Gang Unit in Mpumalanga conducted an intelligence-driven operation. This led to the arrest of a 47-year-old Nigerian national for dealing in drugs on Thursday 04 December 2025 at around 05:00.
According to a report, team members received information then went to a certain house in Valencia, Nelspruit. Upon arrival at house, a search was carried out and the following items were found then seized:
- 1.27 kg's of suspected Crystal Meth.
- 1.86 kg's of suspected cocaine as well as cash of about R28 000.
The suspect was charged for dealing in drugs. He is expected to appear before the Nelspruit Magistrate’s Court on Friday, 05 December 2025.
