Serious motor vehicle crash along the N2 Southbound, just after King Shaka International Airport

KZN VIP Emergency Medical Teams responded to the scene of a serious motor vehicle crash along the N2 Southbound, just after King Shaka International Airport, on Tuesday afternoon.
Upon arrival, emergency teams found a vehicle that had overturned and come to rest against the bridge barrier. Thankfully, the vehicle did not go over the barrier and down the embankment, which could have resulted in far more severe consequences.
Two (2) occupants sustained injuries and were assessed and treated on scene by Emergency Teams before being transported to medical facilities for further medical care. The exact circumstances leading up to the crash remain unconfirmed at this stage.
All emergency services were in attendance, and the scene was managed accordingly.
