? Proshield Tactical Unit

Date: 11 February 2026

Time: Approximately 09:00

Location: Rosslyn

In a coordinated and intelligence-driven operation, members from the above-mentioned units successfully disrupted a planned vehicle theft in Klipfontein.

Acting swiftly on credible intelligence regarding a car theft syndicate operating in the area, units strategically deployed and maintained vigilant surveillance on key routes. Their proactive positioning quickly paid off when a suspicious vehicle matching the intelligence description was identified.

As members moved in to investigate, the vehicle sped off from the Rosslyn side, triggering a high-speed pursuit. Through coordinated teamwork and tactical driving, units maintained pressure on the suspects. The fleeing vehicle was eventually forced to a stop, at which point the suspects abandoned the vehicle and fled on foot, managing to evade arrest.

A thorough search led to the successful recovery of the vehicle, along with break-in implements found inside—clear evidence of the criminal intent. Thanks to the rapid response and seamless cooperation between all units involved, the planned vehicle theft was successfully prevented.

All relevant role players attended the scene.

Excellent work to all members involved
