Earlier today Emergency Medical Services ER24 reported via twitter the following "Tragic end to flying lesson - two killed in aircraft crash outside Lanseria. Our team from @ER24JHBNorth and @HALO_Aviation on scene."
 
A photo was shared of the crash scene  with the wording : "Another tragic end for a man and a woman who have lost their lives following the crash of a light aircraft outside of the airport in Lanseria. RIP and our thoughts and prayers go out to your families."

A man and a woman have been killed following the craft of the light aircraft that they were in outside of the airport in Lanseria. 

Investigations are still underway as to the cause of the plane crash, but according to witnesses it appeared that the trouble started shortly after take off and the plane then went down. 

The light aircraft with the two on board went down in an open field outside of the airport and when rescuers and paramedics arrive it was evident that the two had not survived their injuries. Paramedics declared them dead a short while later.
