Motorcyclist killed in Kimberley

A motorcyclist has died after he collided with a vehicle on Nobengula and Smitdrif street in Kimberely.

The exact detail to the cause of the accident will remain a subject for police investigation and comment.

When Netcare911 paramedics arrived on scene, we found the man to be in a critical condition.

A Netcare911 Advanced Life Support paramedic initiated CPR and intubated the man to assist him to breathe, but sadly there was nothing more we could do for the man.

He was declared dead on scene by a Netcare 911 paramedic.

This accident happened this evening at about 18h30.
