3 Killed, More than 60 injured in 3rd bus crash in KZN

Three people have been killed and more than sixty people have been injured after a bus, a light motor vehicle and a bakkie collided with each other on the R617 about 10 kilometre’s before Underberg in Kwa- Zulu Natal.

The exact detail to the cause of the accident will remain a subject for police investigation.

All the deceased were occupants of the light motor vehicle.

The passengers from the bus as well as bakkie sustained moderate to minor injuries.

They were all stabilised on scene by Netcare911 paramedics , the Provincial EMS as well as another service provider on scene before they were transported to various hospitals in the area for further medical care.

This accident happened this morning at about 05h00.

 

Note: This is the third accident involving a bus in KZN since Friday morning.
