A vehicle crashes into a wall in Chatsworth leaving one dead and three injured

A man was killed and three others injured late last night when a light motor vehicle crashed into a residence wall along Moorton Drive in Chatsworth, KwaZulu Natal.

ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene to find that a light motor vehicle had crashed through a residence wall. A man, believed to be in his 60s, was found lying in the driver’s seat while a woman and two children were found seated in another vehicle.

Paramedics assessed the man and found that he showed no signs of life. Unfortunately, nothing could be done for him and he was declared dead.

The woman and two children were assessed and found to have sustained only minor injuries. They were treated for their injuries and were thereafter transported to RK Khans Provincial Hospital for further care.

The exact cause of the collision is not yet known but local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
