Pedestrian Killed in collision on the R102 Ottawa, KwaZulu Natal

An unidentified man has been killed after being run over on the R102 in the vicinity of the Ottawa robots in Verulam a short while ago.
At approximately 17:16 members of Reaction Unit South Africa arrived on scene and found the pedestrian lying on the roadway. Paramedics from the Provincial Ambulance Service were in attendance and declared the pedestrian deceased at the scene. He was found to have sustained severe head trauma after he was run over by an Isuzu bakkie.
The driver of the bakkie was not injured in the accident.
