RAF brings services to the Community of Butterworth on Saturday 21 July

13 July 2018 | From Arrive Alive

In celebration of Nelson Mandela Centenary Year, the Road Accident Fund will be visiting the community of Butterworth in Eastern Cape on Saturday, 21 July, during which qualifying claimants will receive a range of services from the caring arm of government. Crash victims can expect RAF staff to provide the highest standard of care and professionalism when its Eastern Cape regional workforce set up a multi-functional office from 08:00 to 16:00 at Butterworth Town Hall, Butterworth.

At the heart of this community outreach is service delivery and making a difference to qualifying claimants, including everyone affected by the scourge of road crashes. Claimants will be assisted with the direct registering of new claims, consolidation of required compliance documents, settlement offers, and reporting of cases involving alleged unscrupulous attorneys and touts.

The RAF prides itself in demonstrating integrity, honesty and fairness in all its actions and decisions.

Community members are encouraged to bring their ID documents to the event for enquiries and information on their claim. Other important information which needs to be provided for new claims includes case numbers, accident reports, hospital reports, vehicle registrations, and details of other parties involved in the car crash.

Anyone unable to attend on Saturday is encouraged to visit the RAF at its Eastern Cape (EC) Regional Office in East London at Metropolitan Building, 4th Floor, corner Drury Lane and Caxton Streets. Alternatively, one can visit any of the 14 EC
Hospital Service Centres: Frere Hospital (East London); Livingstone Hospital (Port Elizabeth); Dorah Nginza Hospital (Port Elizabeth); Nelson Mandela Hospital (Mthatha); Uitenhage Hospital (Uitenhage); Cecilia Makiwane Hospital (Mdantsane); Madzikane Ka Zulu Hospital (Mount Frere); Frontier Hospital (Queenstown); St Elizabeth Hospital (Lusikisiki); Aliwal North Hospital (Aliwal North); Taylor Bequest Hospital (Matatiele); Midlands Hospital (Graaff Reinet); Butterworth Hospital (Butterworth); and St Patricks Hospital (Bizana)
