Bikers injured in collision into truck in Northdene

Two Bikers have been seriously injured after a Bike and a Truck Crashed on the corner of Main Road and Fairfield Road in Northdene this morning.
Rescue Care Paramedics arrived on the scene just after 08:40 to find the seriously injured bikers on the roadway. Both patients had sustained serious injuries and Advanced Life Support intervention to stabilise them on the scene before transporting them to nearby hospitals for the further care that they required.
At this stage the events leading up to the crash are unknown however SAPS were on the scene an will be investigating further.

It has since been established that a single taxi lost control and crashed. The driver and conductor survived the accident.
