Woman left critical in collision in Centurion

A woman, believed to be in her 30s, was left critically injured this morning when she was knocked over by a light motor vehicle on the N14 north-bound near the Brakfontein turnoff in Centurion.
ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene top find the vehicle on the side of the road. The woman was found a shot distance away in the drain.
Paramedics assessed the woman and found that she had sustained numerous injuries and was in a critical condition.
The woman was treated for her injuries and provided with advanced life support interventions. Once treated, the woman was transported to a nearby private hospital for urgent treatment.
The driver of the vehicle fortunately escaped injury.
Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
