Man’s body found in a farm river in Vaalbank Suid

The body of a man, believed to be in his 20s, was found this morning in a river on a farm in Vaalbank Suid, Free State.
ER24 paramedics were called to the scene by the SAPS Search and Rescue Unit. 
On inspection, paramedics found that the rescue unit had already retrieved the man’s body. Unfortunately, the man had already been dead for some time. Nothing more could be done for him.
It is understood that the man had gone missing on Saturday while fishing.
Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
