The MEC responsible for Transport, Safety and Liaison in the Northern Cape, Hon Lebogang Motlhaping, will on Monday, 26 November 2018, launch the Festive Season Road Safety Campaign in Colesburg.
The annual launch seeks to heighten awareness around matters of safety on our roads, as Road Safety is a 365 Days Campaign and continues to be the responsibility of all road users.
One of the key objectives of the launch is to rally support from all stakeholders and communities in ensuring everyone adheres to the rules of the road, reduces road fatalities and crashes, and to ensure safer roads for all.
As we approach the commencement of the festive season, let us all be encouraged to obey all the rules of the road and be considerate of all other road users. Let us remember to buckle up, drive within the with the speed limits and not drink and drive.
