One killed, one injured in two-vehicle collision in Fochville

A man, believed to be 39-years-old, sustained fatal injuries while another man was left injured following a two-vehicle collision on the N12 in Fochville this afternoon.

When ER24 paramedics arrived at the scene shortly after 17h00, they found a man still inside a vehicle. Unfortunately, the man was showing no signs of life and was declared dead at the scene by paramedics.

Paramedics also assessed a man found walking around at the scene. He had sustained moderate injuries.

ER24 treated the man at the scene before transporting him to hospital for further medical care.

Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
