Car crashes into fence leaving two dead, two injured in Ermelo

Two men were killed and two others injured early this morning when their light motor vehicle crashed into a fence on President Fouche Road in Ermelo.
ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene at 01h40 to find the vehicle upright on the side of the road. All four men were found lying outside of the car.
Medics assessed the patients and found that two men had already succumbed to their numerous injuries. Nothing could be done for them, and they were declared dead.
The two other men were assessed and found to have sustained minor injuries. The men were treated and thereafter transported to Ermelo Provincial Hospital for further care.
Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
