Elderly women found tied up, deceased in a room in Durban

Netcare 911 was alerted by Marshall Security that a woman was found unresponsive at her residence in Parkhill Durban North.
 
When medics arrived on the scene they found the elderly lady aged approximately 70-years-old bound by her hands and feet on the floor.
 
The patient was assessed, however, showed no signs of life and was sadly declared deceased by a Netcare 911 advanced life support practitioner.
 
Circumstances leading up to the incident will be investigated by the SAPS who were on the scene.
