Taxi driver shot in the head on Estuary Drive in Missionlands, KZN

A 32-year-old taxi driver was seriously injured after he was shot in the head on Estuary Drive in Missionlands - KZN this afternoon (Wednesday).
Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) arrived on scene at approximately 19:19 and discovered the male bleeding excessively from his injury. He explained that he was returning to his employers residence in a white Toyota Quantum when a white Toyota Corolla (registration unknown) blocked his path of travel.
The victim attempted to reverse but one of the suspects fired a shot which penetrated the windscreen (picture 2) and struck him in the head. The mini bus veered off the road and came to a stop in a dense bush. The gunmen then sped off in an unknown direction.
The motive for the shooting has not been confirmed.
