Road users are advised to plan ahead and be prepared for possible delays on the N3 Toll Route at route marker board N3-6X-Km 43.2 N near the Sand River Valley entrance on 23 and 24 April 2024. Eskom requires intermittent total road closures in 30-minute intervals to perform essential work on an overhead transmission line and conductor.

N3 Toll Concession (N3TC) requests road users’ patience and cooperation to assist Eskom to complete these essential works.

Road users planning to travel along the N3 Toll Route, particularly between Tugela Plaza and Van Reenen, are advised to obtain real-time traffic information and route status updates from the 24-hour N3 Helpline: 0800 63 43 57 or by following @N3Route on X.
