Transport Minister to brief the media on the state of rail transportation in South Africa.

The Minister of Transport Ms. Sindisiwe Chikunga, will hold a media engagement on the state of rail transportation in South Africa.
The media briefing will provide accounts and update members of the media on rail-related issues, namely, the revitalisation and modernisation of rail infrastructure, rail infrastructure recovery, job creation, and transformation of rail operations to cater to persons living with disabilities and other issues.
Minister Chikunga will be joined by Passenger Rail Agency of South Africa (PRASA) Group CEO, Hishaam Emeran, Railway Safety Regulator (RSR) Acting CEO, Mmuso Selaledi and other rail stakeholder.
