Minister of Transport, Ms. Barbara Creecy and the Deputy Minister Mr. Mkhuleko Hlengwa to launch Festive Season Road Safety Campaign

Members of the media are invited to the launch of the festive season road safety campaign by the Minister of Transport, Ms. Barbara Creecy and the Deputy Minister Mr. Mkhuleko Hlengwa on Sunday the 1st of December 2024.
The Minister and Deputy Minister will be joined by the MECs of Transport and Community Safety from all nine Provinces.
The Minister is set to outline major focus areas for this year’s campaign including the strategic deployment of law enforcement officers as well as awareness initiatives to support the campaign.
The minister will also outline the vision underlying the review of the road safety strategy that is currently underway.
The theme for this year’s campaign is, “Every day without a Road Death – South Africa 2024”.
