Man arrested for dealing in suspected drug substances called Nyaope

The Gauteng Traffic Police together with the Wardens Saturation Task Team, conducted crime prevention operations in Tembisa and surrounding areas.
While busy conducting routine patrols, the officials received information about a male suspect who was said to be selling drugs in the area of Isiziba section ,Tembisa.
The officers swiftly responded to the information given and managed to apprehend a male suspect who was in possession and dealing in suspected drug substances called Nyaope.The suspect was then arrested and taken to Tembisa SAPS for detention.
Additionally, during patrol duties, the officials noticed a suspicious male suspect exchanging a small plastic with another male at Isiziba section.The law enforcement officers approached the males but one fled the scene and as they searched the remaining male they found substance suspected to be called Double Star.The suspect was detained at Tembisa SAPS.

A thirty (30) year old man has been runover hy a gold Kia on Trenance Park Drive in Palmview - KZN this afternoon.
Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) arrived on scene at 15:18 (Thursday) to render assistance to the injured man.
