The South African Association for Fleet Professionals (AFP) is proud to announce their inaugural colloquium for 2025: Navigating the Future: Strategic Insights for Tomorrow's Fleet Professionals powered by MasterDrive. 

In an era of technological transformation and evolving business, fleet management is a more complex and, consequently, critical sector to prioritise. The upcoming AFP Colloquium will shed light on these topics. It will bring industry experts together to unpack strategic and successful approaches to fleet operations.

During the Colloquium important association and membership information will be shared by the AFP President, Eugene Herbert.

The keynote presentation will be hosted by Winstone Jordaan, the Founder and Managing Director of GridCars, on the topic of ‘Electrification Revolution: How EV Infrastructure is Transforming Fleet Operations and Sustainability.’

A panel discussion will assess how to ‘Build Resilient Fleet Operations: Innovation, Compliance, and Efficiency.’ 

Several experts will address this topic from a variety of perspectives:
•    Gavin Kelly, Chief Executive Officer at Road Freight Association (RFA), will address future trends in road freight that fleet managers should prepare for today 
•    Bobby Shemmans, Occupational Health and Safety Consultant, will address creating sustainable safety cultures within fleet operations
•    Jonathan Mphake, a Supply Chain and Fleet Management Expert, will share information on technology implementation success stories and lessons learned
•    Mpho Chokwe, Santam Underwriting Head: Retail Motor Fleet Solutions, will illustrate how fleet operators can leverage insurance data to build more resilient operations
•    Graham Eagle, Auto Industry Consultant - Former OEM (Importer) VP and CEO, will speak about vehicle procurement strategies for modern fleet operations
•    Rob Sansom, National Outbound Logistics Manager at AfriSam, will provide practical approaches to innovation in established fleet operations
