Tsolo Police apprehend notorious murder suspect

A 20-year-old male suspect, wanted for a series of violent crimes including multiple murders, attempted murder, and house robberies, was arrested on Monday, 19 May 2025, at approximately 19:40 in Tsolo CBD (New Homes).
During the arrest, the suspect was found in possession of an unlicensed firearm with an erased serial number, though no ammunition was recovered. He is linked to at least four murders, one attempted murder, and two house robberies committed in Tsolo between April and May 2025.
The suspect is set to appear before the Tsolo Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday, 21 May 2025, facing additional charges of unlawful possession of an unlicensed firearm. The recovered firearm will undergo ballistic testing to determine its potential connection to other crimes.
OR Tambo District Commissioner, Major General Norman Modishana, commended Tsolo police for their unwavering dedication and adherence to their code of conduct in combating crime. "Their relentless efforts ensure perpetrators are brought to justice," he stated.
