Female suspect arrested for the possession of stolen property in the Germiston area.

On Tuesday 20 May 2025 at 13:00, Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Police Department (EMPD) Intervention Unit Officers, apprehended a female suspect for possession of stolen property in the Germiston area.
Following on information about a woman in possession of stained money, Officers were able to locate and arrest the forty-six(46) year-old suspect at Palmridge Court, before she was detained at Germiston Police Station.
Waiting for her at the police station, were members from ABSA Bank to verify if the female was the wanted suspect. Upon confirmation by ABSA Bank members that she indeed the perpetrator.
The suspect was charged with possession of stolen property and is expected to appear in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court soon.

Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) arrived on scene at 15:18 (Thursday) to render assistance to the injured man.
