Emergency responders of the DFW Fire & Rescue NPC rushed to the scene, as called for, to assist with a 24-year-old male, injured on his arm and leg.
Upon arrival, it was clear that injuries were severe and the wounds were treated, and the leg was put in splints.
Dakenstein traffic assisted on site and somewhat later, the patient was loaded in the EMS ambulance to Paarl Mediclinic.
We wish the young man a speedy and full recovery.
The spot of the accident is a very dangerous one, and the DFW has been here several times the last months.

Wilderness Search And Rescue (WSAR) marked its 100th incident for the year following the safe rescue of a 57-year-old hiker on Table Mountain on Monday morning.
