Nissan South Africa uses your music to keep you safe with the Nissan Intelligent Playlist

The Nissan Intelligent Playlist is a pioneering digital innovation designed to harmonise the relationship between driver, vehicle and their favourite tunes.

It adapts your music to your surroundings, using your favourite tracks to provide updates and alerts while driving. It's a fun and entertaining way to provide the information you need to improve the safety of your drive.

The Playlist, which runs on any mobile device, leverages real-time data like time-of-day, map information, weather conditions, and driving duration to intelligently scan the environment for potential dangers. When triggered, the playlist loads an appropriate track to stream from Spotify Premium, cued to the exact right moment to deliver the relevant warning message.

South Africans love turning up their music, but unfortunately, this also means they can be more easily distracted. By actually using music as a means to alert drivers, something that could be seen as a negative is disruptively turned into a positive.

To Nissan, the journey is just as important as the destination. With the Nissan Intelligent Playlist, they are moving beyond the hardware of the car to enhance the emotional experience of every kilometre travelled. It's just another way that the brand is pushing to Defy Ordinary.

The Nissan Intelligent Playlist is now available for download via nissanintelligentplaylist.com
