Stabbing leaves patient in serious condition on Somme Street in Howick

Midlands EMS Howick crews were dispatched to Somme Street in Howick following reports of a stabbing incident.
On arrival it was found that one person had sustained serious injuries and required urgent medical care. Paramedics quickly assessed and treated the patient on scene before preparing them for transport.
Once stabilised, the patient was transported to a nearby specialist hospital for further care.
The exact circumstances surrounding the incident are unknown at this stage.
Authorities were in attendance.
