Accident On the N6, about a kilometer outside Smithfield towards Bloemfontein.
Truck overturned and completely closed the road on both sides.

Update:
The Free State Road Incident Management System confirms a truck accident on the N6 between Smithfield and Reddersburg.
The truck is blocking all lanes. The road is completely closed to all traffic.
Estimated duration: A number of hours due to heavy vehicle recovery and rehabilitation work.
Alternate routes:
1. From Bloemfontein: Use N1 south, then exit at Springfontein/Bethulie back to N6.
2. From Smithfield: Take R701 via Bethulie to Springfontein, then join N1 north to Bloemfontein.
Safety:
Kindly obey law enforcement and traffic officials on scene. Do not attempt to pass the crash site.
