Plan for peak conditions on the N3 Toll Route on Easter Monday
04 April 2021 | Road Safety Highlights

High traffic volumes of between 2500 and 3500 vehicles per hour are expected northbound (towards Gauteng) on the N3 Toll Route tomorrow as holidaymakers return home after the Easter long weekend.
Road users are advised to prepare for peak travel conditions and slow-moving traffic which may cause congestion and result in delays.
Stop and rest often, remain alert and patient, and please share the road responsibly.
Weather conditions are looking favourable; the South African Weather Service predicts clear weather along most parts of the route tomorrow and some isolated thundershowers along the coastal areas of KwaZulu-Natal in the late afternoon.
Report problems or get emergency assistance on the N3 between Cedara and Heidelberg from the N3TC Route Control Centre. Call the 24/7 #N3Helpline on 0800 63 4357 or follow @N3Route on Twitter.
“N3TC wishes all travellers a safe and pleasant journey. Remember, great holidays only end once you have arrived safely back home,” ends N3TC’s operations manager, Thania Dhoogra.
