An employee from the Department Of Health was injured after a bakkie he was driving was involved crashed on the south bound lane of the R102 near Ottawa - KZN this afternoon (Friday).
Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) arrived on scene at approximately 16:22 and discovered a white Nissan NP 300 bakkie belonging to the Ethekwini Municipality on a grass verge next to the road. The driver was in the process of being treated for his injuries by Paramedics from a private ambulance service. The extent of his injuries were unknown.
Circumstances leading up to the accident were not immediately established.
