A man collapsed while engaging in a sporting activity in Hilton, KZN. Midlands EMS crews, including Advanced Life Support paramedics, were dispatched to the scene.
Bystanders had already initiated CPR by the time paramedics arrived.
The paramedics quickly took over, using a defibrillator along with advanced equipment and medications to continue resuscitation efforts.
Despite these extensive measures, the patient was sadly pronounced deceased at the scene.
